Chapter 3 Excerpt from Pearls of the King - The Power of a Dream The King’s Strategy: 1. God is not impressed with man-sized vision. If it doesn’t take God, then it’s not big enough. Take the time to journal what’s really on your heart. Don’t discount those promptings that seem too big for you to do…the ones too big could be God breathed! 2. The greater the dream, the greater the threat to the enemy. Be prepared that when you speak your dream you might get rebuked just like Joseph did. Do not allow the nay-sayers to make you shrink back. 3. A man with a dream will always succeed over a man without one. Don’t be that hireling: get out of the stands, get off of the bench and get into the game! Remember, just because you are on the field standing by the sidelines does not mean you are in the game. If you don’t get engaged you’ll just be another Monday morning quarterback. The King’s Meditation: For I know the thoughts and plans for you, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me as a vital necessity and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive. Jeremiah 29:11-14 (AMP) Instead of your [former] shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess DOUBLE [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs. Isaiah 61:7 (AMP) |
